Hurrah for Yosemite!

The featured article on my "Yahoo Destination" page today is Yosemite National Park. The article went on and on about the beauty of this awesome park . Since we went there as a family a month and a half ago, I was excited to be reminded of the wonderful place it is. Here are some photos of our great camping vacation in Yosemite. We all would like to do it again. It takes a little work to get campsites but it is well worth it. Would anyone be interested in joining us next summer? Please let me know if you are interested-we will probably be looking at going the end of July. Come on-You would have a blast.

Logan Chad

Logan joined our family on May 28th and we are so glad he is here!
He weighed 6 lbs. 10 oz. and was 19 inch long.

Thank You

Thank you Buchanan Family for the wonderful reunion last week. I had an incredible trip down memory lane. But, the best part was being with all of you in the present. Thank you, Merrilee for thinking it up and getting us all together. We had a wonderful time.

Dad's Tile Work

Dad and Karen have been working on their bathroom. Dad sent me these pictures of their new tile floor-beautiful. It looks like someone has been busy with the walls as well. I like the faux finish-very nice.

Its a Boy!

Chad and I are expecting our first baby in June. We just found out that its a boy. We are so excited and can't wait till he is here!

Amazing Dad

Dad e-mailed me some photos of the new storm door he just made for their front door. He is always doing something creative and useful. I wish I could run up to his front door, ring the doorbell and press my nose up against the glass until they answered. Wouldn't that be fun?

Tucson Paint-O-Rama

Katie just finished a weeklong national horse show held here in Tucson the week after Christmas. She tried her hand at reining events on a horse named "Flyer". She did pretty well her third time on the horse. She beat her trainer! Reining is a western event with big run downs, spins and sliding stops. Lots of fun to watch.

A mother bobcat brought her kittens over for a swim this morning. She's on the wall watching (out of view.)
